Now it is time to make some goals that you will work on during the program. Goals can have to do with friends, family, school, work, extracurricular activities, etc. You should list up to three goals. Write this list on paper or in a journal where you can review it anytime. For each goal that you list, you can rate its importance.
Goal Setting Tips
Set small and short-term goals
Break larger goals into smaller goals that can be achieved in steps. Smaller goals make it easier to measure success and can keep a large goal from feeling overwhelming. Setting goals that may only take a few weeks to achieve can be a helpful way of making the problem-solving plan a reality!
Concrete and observable success
Goals should have observable and real signs of progress so that you know when they have been achieved. For instance, if one of your goals is to improve your grades, set a specific target (example: improve from a C to a B in history).
